Mr. Khatkhatay is a B. Tech from IIT (Bombay) and an MBA from Poona University. He has vast experience in Islamic Finance. During his professional life of 40 years, he has been working in the area of capital market, shariah compliant product development, Islamic microfinance and Islamic Finance regulation in India.
For his seminal work on Indian capital market and its shariah compliance, Mr. Khatkhatay was invited by Harvard Law School for presenting his joint research paper at seventh Harvard University Forum on Islamic Finance. Later on the same research was published by Islamic Development Bank in its official journal Islamic Economic Studies. He has spoken and presented papers related to Islamic Finance at conferences in India and abroad.
He has played a key role in structuring a Shariah compliant Index, Venture Capital Funds, a Mutual Fund, and Shariah based fund mobilization models for Real Estate, leasing, finance and manufacturing and service companies and other Corporate clients. He has vast experience in Shariah Audit of policies, processes and operations of the companies and firms operating in the Indian legal and regulatory environment.
Mr. Khatkhatay was earlier associated as Executive Director at the launch of AI Baraka Finance House Ltd., the Indian arm of the Dallah - AI Baraka Group of Saudi Arabia and is currently Director of TASIS, which is India's premier Shariah advisory institution. He is also Advisor or Director on the board of other Islamic Fianancial institutions. He has been keenly involved in tailoring the evolving Indian regulatory framework to create space for various Islamic finance initiatives.

Mr. Jamil is a Founder Director of Taqwaa Advisory and Shariah Investment Solutions (P) Ltd. He is Chartered Accountant and an Information Systems Auditor,standing with 25 Years of experience. Mr. Jamil prior to establishing Shaikh and Associates, was Finance Manager with a leading Islamic Investment group in Mumbai. He has gained international exposure of working in various assignments in UAE, Kuwait and Oman. He is involved in Statutory & Internal Audits, Due Diligence Reviews, Systems Analysis and Design and other areas of the organization’s Management Assurance discipline. He caters to clients in Industries like FMCG, Engineering, Real Estate, Consumer & Electronics, Travel & Tourism, NBFC, etc. he also handles individual and corporate taxation.
Mr. Jamil is actively involved in the Islamic Finance having an in-depth knowledge of the principles related to all matters linked to finance, accounting, budgeting, cost management and controls and having significant experience in evolving, enhancing & implementing business processes. He possesses comprehensive knowledge of Ijara, Murabaha, Mudarabah, Sukuk and Takaful etc.

Mr. Rehman has completed his B.A in Commerce and Corporate Studies, from Madras University, M.B.A., D.L.L., and M.F.M., from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu and M.F.M in Investment Management from Mumbai University.
Mr. M.Z. Rehman is having 30 years of experience in Indian Investments and Financial Markets. Since 1982, he is involved in Indian Listed Equity Markets under various capacities. He is as an Advisor for many listed and unlisted companies and also to several business groups in Gulf since 2003, to invest in Indian unlisted and listed debt equity markets. Mr. M.Z. Rehman is having excellent knowledge in dealing experience in Capital guaranteed Structured products offered by various Foreign Hedge Funds. He has entered the taking ahead the concept of interest-free investments in banking, entity named “Aasra”. Also heading India’s only premiere Islamic Advisory Company (TASIS) which imparts Shariah structures to few Shariah Mutual Funds and Financial Institutions in India.

Mr. Zafar is a Commerce graduate with 25 years of diversified experience, including 15 years of hands-on experience of financial accounting, marketing and administration in the field of Islamic Finance and Investment. He worked as Branch Manager with Bait-un-Nasr Coop.
Credit Society-Pioneers in the field of Interest Free Micro - Banking and Finance in India. He also worked as Branch Manager with Barkat Investment Group- (A Real- Estate Construction & Development Company)-Pioneers in Profit & Loss Sharing Finance and Investments in India. He was instrumental in establishing and registering AASRA the first Shariah complaint multi state co-op. Credit society in India and was its chief Promoter. He actively participated in promoting the financial activities of Federation of Interest-free Organizations (India). He participated in various seminars and conferences on Islamic Banking and Finance organized by Islamic Fiqh Academy, Delhi. He was the key head of Marketing of India's first Shariah compliant Mutual Fund (TATA SELECT EQUITY FUND) launched by the country's leading TATA industrial house.

Mr. Ibnu Soud is a post-graduate in Arabic and lslamic Studies. He is an entrepreneur and a well-known social worker based out of Tamil Nadu.

He has more than 40 years of experience in public relations, sales and marketing. He has also attended various conferences around the world.
